RRS Announces New Certification Recipients
HARRISBURG, PA (6/9/2009) - Reynolds Restoration Services has announced that staff members received the following industry certifications.
Foremen, Mike Black and David Coleman both achieved the Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) designation through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Also, cleaning technician, Brian Smith earned the WRT designation, as well as the Certified Smoke and Fire Restoration Technician status through the IICRC.
These programs are designed to give restoration personnel a better understanding of the effects of water, fire and smoke damage, and techniques for cleaning, drying, and restoring damaged structures. The WRT course also provides information on sewer backflows and contamination, such as mold.
The IICRC is a nonprofit certifying and standard-setting organization in Vancouver, Washington, dedicated to raising industry standards through technical proficiency. By administering a strict process of certification, the IICRC provides a means by which consumers can receive the highest quality of service from trained and knowledgeable technicians.
