RCE Awarded CEM Certifications
HARRISBURG, PA (2/17/2009) - Reynolds Consulting Engineers has announced that its president, James Horst, P.E., LEED AP, CxA, and senior systems engineer, David Hickey, P.E., LEED AP, have earned the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
Incepted in 1981, the CEM designation is a widely accepted standard for qualifying energy professionals with high levels of experience and competency in the field of energy management. There are only 6,000 Certified Energy Managers in the United States and abroad. The certification process involves a qualifications application, an extensive two-day training program and test.
The AEE is a non-profit association that provides informational outreach to professionals in the industry of energy management and sustainable development.
Reynolds Consulting Engineers is a Harrisburg-based engineering services firm that provides consulting engineering, LEEDŽ consulting and building commissioning services.
