The college has established preliminary goals for the current renovation and addition projects for the inclusion of Minority, Women and Disabled Business Enterprises. There are two components to which will be measured against targeted goals. First is business ownership and the second is the diversity of the actual workforce utilized in the shops and on the site.
The business ownership goals are:
25% Minority owned Business Enterprise (MBE)
10% Women owned Business Enterprise (WBE)
2% Disabled owned Business Enterprise (DBE)
The workforce goals are:
25% Minority, and
10% Women, with
50% from the City of Philadelphia
These goals are similar to those of the City and are being reviewed to become part of CCP Policy moving forward with large-scale projects and procurement practices. Vendors with certification are encouraged to contact the project team for inclusion in project pre-qualification and bidding notices.
